the rest of the trip was basically the same as the blog post before.
other than these things.
1. went to the beach. it was cold. i wore a sweater.
2. we went back to panera bread. mmmm. i want to open one here. i am now determined to bring franchises to ontario atleast.
3.we assembled furniture. oh wait, we did that already.
4.we watched halle confuse the words allen key with the words anvil and advil.
5. we went to the beach again. i attemped to read but there were too many kids from alabama and mississippi partying. so i layed in the sand. i refused to wear sunscreen. i burnt.
6. we drove home.22 hours. but we stopped in nashville and slept in cinncinatti.
7. we went to buy a pelican carved with a chainsaw. and got dip and dots icecream. my tongue got frostbite.

HEY SOUL SISTER - DAYS 4 & 5
DAYS 4 and 5
we assembled funiture, went to the pool, assembled more funiture, went to the homedepot, went to winn dixie, went to the outlet mall, bought a clutch. :)
stayed strong when in the coach store, saw a 75 dollar key chain and a diamond encrusted thumb drive, went to the crab trap for dinner. (delicious) generally boring. still sick. napped for 3 hours.
WORSHIPED THE SUN
new travel anthem: the muppets song. mamomanom <3

This Opportunity Comes Once In a Lifetime
Day 3:
Day three started off kind of negatively. I coughed myself awake and woke up everyone else. I still felt kind of crappy all morning but the fruit smoothie and Starbucks banana bread helped.
We assembled furniture all day. Note to the makers of IKEA instruction manuals, words and labels would be a super good idea. A guy with a smile on his face pointing to a screw is not very helpful when there are 4 different types of screws that you are given.
We also travelled to Wal-Mart, home depot, marshals and my new favourite place (Panera Bread, they need to have them in Canada)
After more assembling and multiple threats to throw the furniture over the balcony, we went to the movie theatre to see “Alice in wonderland”.
Over all it was a good movie that showcased the original story, the contrast between England and Scotland and a bong smoking caterpillar. Over all the 3D was decent (not great) and I give it 4 stars out of five.

On The Road Again Day 2
Day 2 started at 7am in Conyers (just outside Atlanta)
We enjoyed the “fresh” strawberries at the continental breakfast and then i stole a box of kleneex from the hotel room. MOST NESSESARY
After checkout, we headed over to the U-haul to pick up a 17” truck and headed to the local IKEA. That was a 4.5 hour adventure. and 7 shopping carts later and a reciept that was longer than a football field, mission IKEA: accomplished.
Other sights seen:
• Atlanta
• Downtown Atlanta
• OH! My nappy hair salon (in downtown Atlanta)
• 4596593458 cows
• A few cows that looked like llamas
• Georgia, Alabama, Florida
oh and as soon as we got to the condo, what was there to greet me? a gecko on the bedroom wall and the marks of where a squirrel had gotten trapped inside. the bed is super comfy and i am super tired.
in other news, i am still sick. grrr.

Hit the road Jack
So the great IKEA road trip has officially begun, we were expecting to leave this morning at 5 am. But a missing cell phone had delayed our departure until 5:26 . Other than that minor time lapse, all was well. I fell asleep shortly after leaving only to wake myself up with my own snoring (make that twice) And once with my peppermint tea in hand, just on the brink of spilling the scalding hot perfection all over myself.
The wait at the border in Windsor was quite long but understandably, everyone and their brother were crossing the border for an awesome march break vacation.
As expected the song Magaritaville was quite prominent thus far in our travels. It wasn’t even 45 minutes from starting the road trip before it made its debut. But may I say that the new travel anthem may or may not be "Tick Tock" by Ke$ha. Time will tell.
Other interesting sights that have been seen as of yet:
• A giant Jesus statue
• MY EYELIDS
• Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia
• The Smokey mountains
• A squirrel themed antique store
• A self serve military vehicle carwash station
• A car accident or two.

florida bound :)
All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go. I'm standin' here outside your door. I hate to wake you up to say goodbye.
So the great ikea roadtrip will begin in approxamately 32.5 hours. I cant wait. the only bummer is that i am still sick, i have lost my voice and have a super annoying cough. :(
i have been packing, resting and studying all evening, hoping to get better in time and be ready to go at 5 am friday. (urg... waking up early......totally worth it)
so, i am planning to picture blog and blog about the day's travels via this blog. hopefully there is an internet source where we are staying and in the condo, if not i might go through withdrawls.
If i don't have sufficient internet accesibility while i am away, i will chronical each days travels and post them at a later date.
Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go

Today, i am feeling rather insignificant.
I am failing math badly. not a surprise that i am getting an F in that course and have no idea on where my life is going. Do i want to go into english, history or sociology? Also, caught stepdad's cold so i feel like ball of gross. Feeling out of the loop with the inter- connections with my friends, but im sure that could be fixed.
Yesterday, spent all day running around like a maniac prepairing for the anniversary party. took some nice pictures of my sister and her boyfriend kyle. :) pictures to come. And i can't wait to see the pictures that the hired photographer took of the whole family.
In other news, i have had the song "hot air balloon" by owl city stuck in my head all day!!

ConverseClass

The class of a converse shoe is undeniable. Wanna wear these dandies to prom? no longer a fashion fauxpas. Heck, even wear converse when not wearing any shoes at all.
Milgram- a really cool guy.
a "shocking" new outlook on the morals of a human vs. authority

WHAT IF?
Just Think.
What If...
Every day was treated like a new beginning?
Where grudges, bitterness, unforgiveness, and worries died the moment your head hit the pillow. And at the time you had awaken to a new morning your mind would be renewed, not lacking knowledge or wisdom from the past, but building on what has been made from prior situations and circumstances.
Each person you'd come into contact with you'd treat like it had been the first time you'd met them and your first impression persona was at the top of it's game. Being kind, loving, unconditional in terms of your friendship in how things are done to show thanks. What if, we did things without having presumptuous intentions of wanting to be thanked for what we had done.
What if, we shared our gifts just out of love and never had the expectations of wanting to be loved in return, because we had the reassurance of knowing we're already loved regardless of what we do.
What if, our confidence was placed in something bigger then ourselves so that our dreams weren't limited to our own fears and insecurities.
What if, believing was reality?
